My CARA Airfit BB Cream Review

Hello Candylovers!!! Are you a fan of BB Creams?? What are your favorite brands of BB Creams?? Have you heard about CARA AIRFIT BB CREAM?

NO? then let me share you my thoughts and review about this product.
Product Info:
CARA AIRFIT BB CREAM
- is a matte-finished, tinted facial moisturizer and sunscreen in one especially made for warm weather. Also perfect for active people and those with oily skin.
The ultra light texture glides on silky smooth for flawless, natural-looking coverage that leaves your skin radiant.
IT WILL HELP YOU
- brighten your skin, eliminate dark spots, fine lines and other unwanted marks of aging the longer you use it. It brings a natural glowy look that will make you look youthful and refreshed all day long.

Packaging:
- it comes in a white square sachet with a simple design at the front and instruction/details at the back.
- it's very slim and lightweight, perfect for travelling or for everyday use.

Here are the swatches of CARA Airfit BB Cream at the back of my hand.
that's the original color of the BB cream
swatching the BB cream using my fingers...
and blending it well.

Now, here's me using the CARA Airfit BB Cream on my face
As you can see in the photo, the left side is my bare face with no makeup.
And on the right side is where I applied the Airfit BB Cream.
Noticed that the BB cream is lighter than my skin tone and is very dewy finished.
I evenly applied it on the other half of my face and blending it well.
And here's my finished look.
Products used:
CARA Airfit BB Cream
Garnier BB Eye Roll on
Jordana Pressed Powder in Creamy Sand
Jordana Blush in Sienna (for contour)
Look Beauty Make Me Blush in Pinch
Look Beauty Brow Perfect
Mary Kay Duo Eyeshadow in Peach n Cream
Maybelline Great Lash Mascara
Miners Matte Lip Paint in Peach

After 4 hours of travelling/walking in the heat of the sun with NO RETOUCH.
I'm sweating like a pig and shining like a diamond but my makeup is still intact. :p

Okay, I got the chance to try this new kind of BB cream from the korean brand called CARA, it's the Airfit BB Cream. The first thing I noticed was the name of the product, "Airfit BB Cream". I instantly said to myself that it's going to be lightweight and has a sheer coverage. True enough, when I applied it all over my face, it doesn't feel heavy and cakey. Although I really need to use a concealer to conceal my blemishes and dark circles because it doesn't cover that much and it's not even buildable.

I used my clean fingers to apply the BB cream on my face but you can also use your foundation brush for it. It glides on my skin smoothly and blends really well. Also it doesn't have that awful smell and it's very safe to use.

I'm really not a fan of BB creams simply because I have an oily/acne prone skin and knowing BB creams, it can make your skin looks shiny and oil more. Also, majority of the BB creams has only 1 shade available and it's a challenge to find the right shade for your skin.

PROS:
- Lightweight, it doesn't feel heavy on your skin.
- It makes my skin breathe
- Smells good
- It glides on my face smoothly and blends well
- It doesn't cake at all
- It has an SPF37
- It has a lot of benefits for your skin
- Perfect for girls who has a flawless skin
- Safe to use
- Water & Sweat resistant
- For long term used

CONS:
- Available in 1 shade only
- Makes my skin looks shiny and oil more
- It's not that pigmented and the coverage is not buildable
- It doesn't cover my blemishes & dark circles; you still need to conceal it
- Not suitable for all skin tones.

Overall, I like this Airfit BB Cream for the benefits that I'm getting for my skin but I'm not quite sure if I'm going to buy it as a replacement for my foundation.

A BONNÉ Miracle Spa Milk Facial Foam+Lycopene 7 Day Skin Challenge

Hello Candylovers!! I'm back with another product review and this time it's the new facial foam from a brand called A BONNÉ.
I was one of those lucky winners who joined the first blog giveaway of Ms. CJ Escuadro aka Pinay on the loose http://www.pinayontheloose.com. And I'm really excited to try the 7 day skin challenge and see for myself if it really works.
A BONNÉ Miracle Spa Milk Facial Foam+Lycopene
An innovative facial cleanser complete with nourishment. A BONNÉ Miracle Spa Milk Facial Foam is formulated with Lycopene to deep-clean facial skin, and contains natural essences to give you lightened, clear and smooth skin with a healthy glow.
MILK PROTEIN moisturizes skin, rendering it irresistibly soft, smooth and supple.
NANOWHITE GLUTATHIONE reduces dark spots and slows down pigmentation; lightens skin tone naturally.
KOJIC prevents melanin formation, conditions skin so that freckles and dark spots gradually fade away, revealing clearer skin.
TOMATO EXTRACT is rich with LYCOPENE, which fights free radicals, prevents wrinkles, keeping skin soft and smooth.

These were the items sent to me by A BONNÉ/Pinayontheloose.
It comes in an eco canvas bag with A BONNÉ Miracle Spa Facial Foam & A BONNÉ Yogurt Milk Cream Soap.

We actually have to start the challenge on a specific date but unfortunately in my case I didn't get to. My Auntie forgot to gave it to me until I asked her if she received any package for me. (1 week late) :p

So before heading to my 7 day skin challenge, would like to do a quick review about this product.
The packaging comes in a squeezable plastic bottom tube with a pink opening cap. It has a white background with designs & details all over the place. It looks cluttered and very busy especially the back part of it.
Although I'm having a hard time reading the description of the product, I must give them the credit of having a complete information. :)

I did take the 7 day skin challenge last April 25.
The first time I used it, I was really amazed by the rich and creamy consistency it has. A little amount of product is enough to clean your face and neck. The texture is so soft and it glides on my face smoothly. I enjoyed washing my face with this product because it really gives you that deep cleaned face without the stingy/tight feeling. I also like the fact that it has a nice scent to it.

So, this is my before and after photos :p
On the left photo, you will notice that I don't have a flawless skin and have a lot blemishes/dark spots.
Then after using A BONNÉ Miracle Spa Facial Foam for 7 days, it did whitened my face and lightened my blemishes/dark spots. Also notice that my eyebrow tattoo kinda lightened too. :p (I don't know if I'll be happy about it or not, hihi!)
Although, I still need to continue using it to achieve that clear smooth skin with a healthy glow.

PROS:
- Rich & Creamy texture
- Smells so good
- Very soft on my skin
- Glides smoothly
- No stingy/tight feeling
- Feels so fresh and clean
- Safe for all skin types
- Effective
- For long term use
- Affordable

CONS:
- Design Packaging
- Not available in some market/stores.

Overall, I love it and will highly recommend it to everyone. :)
Btw, I will be reviewing A BONNÉ Yogurt Cream Milk Soap soon.

For this look, I just played around with their newest eyeshadow collections. (Sphinx, Prom Night & Spring)
Let's Begin:
Steps:

2. Concealer (Garnier BB Eye Roll On)
3. Cream Blush (ELF HD Blush in Encore)
4. Powder (VOM Powder in Warm Olive)

7. Get Sphinx/Gold eyeshadow and put it on your eyelids to inner corners/ducts of your eyes, as seen in photo #2 (I'm also using VOM short shader brush here)
8. Put Prom Night/Purple matte eyeshadow on your outer v to crease, blend well! as seen in photo #3
9. Load your brush with Spring/Green matte eyeshadow and put it on your lower lashes, as seen in photo #4
10. Highlight your browbones and blend it well, as seen in photo #5 (I'm using my VOM Powder in Warm Olive)
11. Line your upper eyes/lashes with a brown liquid eyeliner, as seen in photo #6
12. Curl your lashes and apply mascara (Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler and Maybelline Great Lash Mascara in Dark Brown
13. Contour the hollows of your cheeks (I'm using my VOM New Sculpting Brush and Jordana Blush in Sienna)

They have some gorgeous unique colors
NO Lifespan.
Safe for all skin types
Packaging is sleek and sturdy

CONS:
Eyeshadow fall out
You can only purchase them online

Check out my VOM Summer Product Launch here:

This is my favorite contour blush as of the moment, it's the Jordana blush in Sienna. I bought it at Dollar Store, Shoppesville Greenhills for only P99.00. The color is kinda peachy-brown matte powder that is suitable for light to medium skintone.

I liked to use it together with my VOM new sculpting brush for contouring the hollows of my cheeks, temples and jawlines. The brush is super nice, soft and easy to use. It's perfect for giving your face a natural sculpted look. :)

Finally, got myself this ELF HD Blush in the shade of Encore. I bought it at Greenhills Tiangge for P200. This was actually introduced to me by my fellow youtuber/friend Shebby of Shebbychic.
First of all, I like the packaging of this blush, it's sleek, compact and hygienic. It comes in a clear plastic tube with a black pump and a tube cap. The color that you see in the tube is the actual color that you will get. When using this blush, pump a small amount of product and use your fingers or stipple brush to apply it on your cheeks in a tapping motion and blend in. You can even use it for your lips.

The HD blush is rich and creamy. It's super pigmented and long wearing. A little goes a long way so be sure to get a small amount of product only. It doesn't have a scent and is very safe for all skin types.

Although the downside of this product are:
It's not available in all ELF kiosks/stalls here in the Philippines.
There are only 4 shades available (Encore, Showstopper, Headliner & Superstar).
It's kinda tricky to use, especially if you are not that familiar in using this kind of blush

But overall, I really like it and I highly recommend it. For it's price and quality value, it's totally worth it. :)
