My Virginia Olsen Makeup Tutorial

Hello Candylovers!!! I'm pretty excited to share with you what I came up and think of VOM's eyeshadows. I bought the three best sellers namely Chartreuse, Jirbie & Plum-Lovin which I will be using in my eye makeup tutorial plus some of VOM's products too. So without further ado, let's get started!

Steps:

1. Foundation (Jordana Oil Free Liquid Foundation in 11 Tawny)

2. Concealer (Wet n Wild Cover All Liquid Concealer in 814)

3. Powder (VOM Powder in Warm Olive Glow)

4. Eyebrows (NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder in ECP02 Brown)

5. Prime your eyelids (ELF Eyelid Primer)

6. Load your brush with Chartreuse and pat it on your eyelids, as seen in photo #2

7. Put Jirbie on your outer v to crease and blend it well, as seen in photo #3

8. Get a pencil brush and load it with Plum-Lovin on your lower lashes, as seen in photo #4

9. Highlight your inner ducts by using Tinkerbelle, as seen in photo #5

10. Highlight your browbone with a matte powder, as seen in photo #6 (I'm using VOM HD Mattifying Base)

11. Line your eyes with a blue liquid eyeliner, as seen in photo #7 (Beauty UK in N08)

12. Curl your lashes and apply mascara (Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler and Wet n Wild Mega Pump Mascara in Indigo Black)

13. Apply Falsies on top lashes

14. Contour your nose and cheeks (NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder in ECP02 Brown)

15. Apply blush on the apples of the cheeks (VOM Romantic Blush)

16. Put a peachy pink/ mauvey or pinkish lipstick/ lipstain (Miners Mood Gloss in Glastonberry)

And here are the final looks

the colors reminded me so much of "Peacock" :)

with the right blending and color combination, it's still wearable for daytime. :)

VOM's eyeshadows

These eyeshadows are really gorgeous and pigmented, especially with an eye primer. :) 

VOM Blush

OVERALL, I'm really happy & satisfied with VOM products.

PROS:

Pigmented- especially when you used an eye primer.

Affordable- for only P150.00

They have some gorgeous unique colors

NO Lifespan.

Safe for all skin types

Packaging is sleek and sturdy

CONS:

They don't have much of matte colors

Eyeshadow fall out

You can only purchase them online

Virginia Olsen Fantasy Collection

Hello Candylovers!!! Last November 16, 2012, Friday, I was fortunate enough to be invited by Virginia Olsen for the launch of their newest collection, "Fantasy". What's good about it, I just have to take the elevator up to 29th floor since my office work is in the same building. :)

There are 7 iridescent shimmer in the Fantasy collection namely

Stardust, Moonlight Star, Tinkerbelle, Fairydust, Kryptonite, Crescent Moon & Lovers Moon.

I actually love all of the shades, since it's my first time to encounter an iridescent eyeshadow. But my ultimate 

favorite in the collection is Tinkerbelle! It has a peachy shade but when you apply it on your eyes, it turns out to be lavender. How cool is that! :)

They have 7 Makeup Brushes 

Total Face Brush, Contour/Blush Brush, Eyeshadow Brush, Concealer Brush, Blending Eye Brush, Angled Eyeliner/Eyebrow Brush & Kabuki Brush

These brushes are hypo-allergenic, soft and safe for delicate complexions. It really reminds me of Eco Tools, don't you think? :)

The top part are the actual packaging of the eyeshadows while the lower part are the testers only.

My Avant Garde Bird Makeup Tutorial

Hello Candylovers!!! This was actually my "Avant Garde Bird Finals Look" for my makeup school last year. Enjoy! :)

Let's Begin:

Steps:

1. Foundation (Mememe Flawless Cream Foundation in Porcelain Pure)

2. Concealer (Wet n Wild Cover All Liquid Concealer)

3. Powder (Krave Oil Eliminator & Skin Hydrating)

4. Eyebrows (Sephora Pantone Universe in Black/Dark Blue)

5. Prime the eyes (NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk)

6. Put the blue eyeshadow on inner part of the eyes to browbones and lower eyes, as seen in photo #2

7. Put purple eyeshadow on the middle part of your browbones to outer part of the eyes and also on the middle part of your lower eyes, blend carefully, creating that beautiful gradient effect, as seen in photo #3

8. Put the pink eyeshadow on the upper and lower outer part of the eyes, blend! as seen in photo #4

9. Line your eyes with a black liquid eyeliner, extending the line on the outer part of the eyes, as seen in photo #5&6

10. Line your crease with a black liquid eyeliner, as seen in photo #7 (Limecrime Uniliner in Quill)

11. Draw some random lines on your eyelids, as seen in photo #8

12. Line the white or blank part with a white liquid eyeliner, as seen in photo #9 (Limecrime Uniliner in Lunar Sea)

13. Re-apply the blue/puple/pink eyeshadows on the lower part of your eyes for more dramatic look.

14. Curl your lashes and apply loads of mascara (Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler & Wet n Wild Mega Pump Mascara in Indigo Black)

15. Apply Full Falsies on top of your lashes

16. Contour your nose and cheeks (Krave Complexion Perfection in Custard)

17. Apply pink or rose gold blush on the apples of your cheeks (Amuse 6pcs blush)

18. Conceal your lips using a concealer (Wet n Wild Cover All Liquid Concealer)

19. Line your lips with a black eyeliner pencil & fill them in, only the middle part of your lips. (Wet n Wild Kohl Eyeliner)

20. Put lipgloss on top (optional)

My Vampire Makeup Tutorial

Hello Candylovers!!! Happy Halloween! I decided to do a "Vampire" makeup look since everyone's telling me to do my own version of it. :) A big thank you to my mom for my customized fangs! (i can wear it anytime, anywhere) hahaha :D

Let's Begin:

Steps:

1. Foundation (Mememe Flawless Cream Foundation in Porcelain Pure)

2. Powder (Barry M Translucent Powder)

3. Eyebrows (NYX Eyebrow Kit in Dark Brown)

4. Prime the eyes (Mary Kay's Cream Eyeshadow in Cherry Cola)

5. Put the Maple Walnut on your crease & lower lashes, blend well! as seen in photo #2 (Mary Kay's Maple Walnut)

6. Put the Silver Grey eyeshadow on your eyelids, as seen in photo #3 (Mememe smokey eyes trio)

7. Line your eyes with a black cream eyeliner, extending the line on the inner part of your ducts, as seen in photo #4 (Eyetex cream liner in black)

8. Put the black eyeshadow on top of the cream liner, as seen in photo #6 (Mememe smokey eyes trio in black)

9. Load your brush with the silver grey eyeshadow to define your outer v, blend well. as seen in photo #7

10. Put the white eyeshadow on your browbones, as seen in photo #8 (Mememe smokey eyes trio in white)

11. Put the purple eyeshadow on your lower lashes, as seen in photo #9 (Sephora pantone universe palette)

12. Curl your lashes and apply mascara (Wet n wild mega pump in indigo black)

13. Apply full falsies on top of your eyelashes

14. Contour your nose and cheeks (NYX dark brown powder)

15. Highlight the apples of your cheeks (Pop Beauty Eye Cake in Peaches)

16. Apply Purple/Deep Red lipstick (Miners matte effect in vixen)

17. Apply Bright Red lipstick on the center part of your lips (Ever Bilena Matte in Scarlet)

18. Take whatever left in your lip brush and create a blood effect on the side of your lips.

19. Get your fave red lipgloss and put it on top of the blood effect.

And you're ready for halloween
